UK FARMERS FOCUSED ON TECHNOLOGY-DRIVEN FUTURE
High levels of interest in electronics and a hunger for innovation were common amongst farmers visiting the KUHN Farm Machinery stand at the recent LAMMA agricultural technology event, according to the company’s UK sales manager Duncan McLeish.

Reporting strong representation of arable and livestock farmers from all corners of the UK and further afield, Mr McLeish believes the annual showcase attracting over 40,000 visitors is a good barometer of the current state of agriculture.
“We saw great positivity amongst farmers from all sectors of the industry, with long-term planning and a willingness to invest being very apparent,” he said. “Our electronics hub was often the busiest part of the stand and the nature of enquiries shows that farmers see their futures being shaped by technological advancements.
“LAMMA is the only national farming industry event that reaches out to all sectors, providing us with the opportunity to display our full range of equipment. The 2020 event has again shown us how resilient and progressive UK farmers are and that the next generation is ready to use technology to help overcome whatever obstacles lie ahead.
“The event has become an integral part of our interface with customers and other key contacts and we’re already planning how to maximise the opportunity at LAMMA 2021.”
