EIMA 2026: The APEX is rewarded for direct-seeding innovation

One of the technologies that particularly impressed the jury was the new ISOFLEX seeding unit, which seeds with precision and regularity, even in demanding conditions.

The hydraulic coulter-pressure setting can reach 250 kg and is controlled directly from the tractor cab. This means that the pressure entered by the operator is automatically maintained across the entire working width, even with plot variations.

Combined with a parallelogram mechanism featuring a travel range of 33 cm, this technology ensures precise ground following and consistent seeding depths, creating the ideal conditions for uniform crop emergence.

Designed to meet the demands of no-till seeding and min-till cropping practices, the APEX seed drill is capable of high-quality sowing while protecting the soil.

By working the seeding line only, ISOFLEX seeding units limit soil disturbance to the strict minimum, helping maintain an environment conducive to germination. They ensure efficient residue management, precise seed placement and good furrow quality to promote uniform and seeding crop emergence

The APEX seed drill integrates the new OPTISEED metering units with cassettes. In combination with a hopper and pressurised pneumatic circuit, these metering units carry out precise, regular metering for a wide range of seeds and fertilisers, even when working at high application rates. Being easy to access from the ground and with fast-change cassettes (no tools required), they are designed to make day-to-day operations easier. 

Available in working widths of 6 and 8 metres and equipped with a 5,600-litre pressurised double hopper, the APEX seed drill is a long-range and high-productivity tool. The high-quality sowing ensured by ISOFLEX seeding units is even maintained at speeds as high as 12 km/h. As such, high output is made possible without compromising on precision and seeding regularity.

Thanks to the double-compartment hopper, four distribution heads and two metering systems, the APEX seed drill adapts to different seeding strategies: localized fertiliser application, intercropping, cover crops and simultaneously delivering different products. In addition, with the double-hopper concept, a half-width shut off feature comes as standard.
