Front belt merger MERGE MAXX 442 F

Respecting your forage is essential!

The front-mounted MERGE MAXX 442 F model is the perfect ally to harvest fodder with the lowest possible level of impurities and to reduce operating costs of harvesting machines.

The range of belt merger is completed by the MERGE MAXX 442 F front model with a collection width of 3 metres. This machine combines the desire to harvest fodder with the lowest possible level of impurities with to reduce the operating costs of harvesting machines. Less impurities and the absence of stones in the fodder are often mentioned by users of these machines.
Frequently combined with a rear rotor rake, or belt merger, its use prevents the tractor wheels from rolling on the product before being picked up by the rear machine. The tines of the rear rake or merger no longer scrape to pick up the material compacted by the wheels into the ground.
The MERGE MAXX 442 F belt merger features the following exclusivity: two belts. These belts can deliver product on each side. The rear machine is then able to form a more homogeneous windrow of equivalent density over its width: a base required for even, cylindrical bales easier to wrap. Clear benefits for handling, storing and preserving fodder.

Your benefits

Quality work and perfect windrow formation

An EXCLUSIVE pick-up and double belt

The exclusive double belt on the MERGE MAXX 442 F model allows the user to deliver an equal volume of fodder on each side. This front attachment also prevents the crop from being compacted by the tractor wheels.
The central windrow then produced remains homogeneous in density and shape: an undeniable plus for baling well-cylindrical bales, better wrapped. Homogeneous bales also ensure simple handling and easy storage without forgetting the gain in terms of preservation quality.
The belt of the MERGE MAXX 442 F model is approximately 1 m wide, and optimizes fodder transport and formation of the lateral windrow.
This is a good solution for separating overly large windrows to facilitate drying.
Belt tension adjustment is centralized and tool-free.

Designed to last

Pick-up quality and regularity are directly related to the design of the pick-up and WINDGUARD with roller. That is why a long work has been done on the machine's components to push these limits.
For example, improvements have been made to the pick-up, such as new tines of angled shape to gain strength and capacity. The tine arm with extended crankpin offer better resistance to stress and strain.
Likewise, the area between the pick-up and the conveyor belt has been elevated to ensure excellent fodder flow without accumulation regardless of the conditions.
To prevent introduction of fodder and impurities (soil, sand or stones), the sealing of the conveyor belts has been redesigned with PVC flap seal at the front and brush seal at the rear.
Finally, the WINDGUARD transfer plate has been designed in high yield strength steel, increasing the robustness and longevity of the belt merger.

Reduced maintenance limiting downtime

With the improvements made on the belt merger, the maintenance also has been reviewed, being an key criterion when choosing and purchasing a machine.
The tine arms feature bearings with plastic wearing parts less sensitive to water, soil, sand, ensuring a greater resistance to deteriotation. In case of replacement, the parts can be changed in a few minutes without having to disassemble the tine arms and tines. As for the cam track, the integration Hardox® wearing parts has extended the merger's service life. As it is removable and replaceable, there is no need to replace the entire cam when changing it. Only worn parts are replaced, without disassembling the entire pick-up.
All these improvements allow user time savings and also reduce maintenance costs.
Une maintenance simplifiée pour travailler en continu sans arrêt.

The ground following you expect!

Large angular travel range

A pendulum-type articulation with a +/- 10° travel mounted on ball joints ensures good following of ground contour and sward, and clean raking.

Excellent suspension and constant ground pressure

The constant hydraulic suspension protects the sward, limits driving effort and wear while ensuring good ground countour following. The fodder collected remains clean and crop on the ground is preserved.

At tractor level, the linkage must be used in single-acting floating mode and load transfer hooks (A) must be provided to attach the chains linked to the suspension cylinders.

Adjustable pick-up height

The machine is guided by two large rotating skids to prevent drifting and protect the sward during tractor transverse movements in tight turns. These skids are adjustable in height to adapt to various types of fodder: natural grasslands, alfalfa, straw, etc. Moreover, the machine maintains its optimal hitching angle, which improves suspension efficiency.

Excellent stability for headland turns and transport

For perfect stability during U-turns, on bends and on the road, a tilting articulation effectively and automatically locks the pendulum device when the machine is raised.

Comfort of use

In-cab controls

The work mode, belt speed and windrow delivery are adjustable directly from the tractor cabin, i.e. the operator does not have to leave the tractor.

Easier work monitoring

An operating pressure gauge is positioned in the operator's field of vision to warn him in case of an abnormal increase in machine pressure .
The rear hood of the fodder evacuation chanel, made up of transparent material, ensures fodder flow during work.

Improve your experience with the optional equipment

To increase working comfort, optional equipment are available:
  • A protective net to close the space above the pick-up and conveyor belt to limit the spread of debris that could clog the tractor's radiator grille.
  • A set of 2 rear-view mirrors to improve the operator's lateral visibility at intersections.
