ANTIS M 2 trailed sprayers represent KUHN's mid-range vineyard and orchard sprayers. With a tank capacity of between 1,000 and 2,000 liters and an 820 or 920 mm front-suction fan, the ANTIS M 2 trailed sprayer meets precision and simplicity demands.

A stable, easy-to-handle machine

Robust, durable frame

The products used in sprayers can be highly corrosive, and even small traces of rust can damage the frame. With its galvanized coating, the frame is fully protected against corrosion, delivering enhanced durability and reliability for your work in vineyards and orchards.

Stay balanced!

The 3-in-1 tank is designed for optimum ergonomics and outstanding stability. The three polyethylene tanks (main tank, clean water tank and hand-washing tank) are symetrical and fit together seamlessly. This design ensures balanced operation, whether in transport or during use. Stability is maintained, regardless of tank volumes.

Wheels for all conditions

The wheels on KUHN's vineyard and orchard sprayers offer maximum flexibility. On dry ground, "standard" wheels are perfect. For wet or soft soils prone to sinking, wide or low-pressure wheels are recommended. These wheels reduce ground pressure, minimizing compaction between rows. What's more, wide wheels enhance machine stability on sloping terrain.

Adjustable Half-Axles for Maximum Stability and Flexibility

The two half-axles allow you to adjust the track width for narrow inter-row spacing or widen it for enhanced stability on uneven or sloping terrain.
The half-axles can be turned over, offering two different positions. In the lower position, they ensure maximum stability. In the upper position, they increase ground clearance by up to 20 cm.

Three types of drawbar

Three types of drawbar are available on KUHN sprayers:

  • The straight drawbar is ideal for fields without space constraints at row ends, and offers excellent stability.
  • The articulated drawbar has two positions: transport and work. In the transport position, it locks in place, offering the same features as the straight drawbar. In work position, it allows tighter turns with a rearward pivot point, combining both stability and manoeuvrability.
  • The pivoting drawbar, mounted on the tractor's lift arms, shifts the pivot point rearward to make tight turns easier. Its simple mechanical design ensures exceptional manoeuvrability.

Precise spraying

Front Air Suction: protection and efficiency

Front air suction helps protect the operator from exposure to the products being applied. If any product drifts toward the front of the sprayer, it is sucked in by the fan.

This system also minimizes the risk of drawing in soil debris like leaves or cut grass. As a result, there’s no risk of fan blockage, ensuring consistent airflow and air volume throughout the operation.

R-82 and R-92 Fans

The ANTIS M 2 sprayer can be fitted with a round 820 or 920 mm diameter front-suction fan. The fan's rounded shape makes it ideally suited to goblet-trained trees. It generates a powerful, consistent air flow, meaning it can spray at a greater distance from trees and effectively target tall crops. This versatility also makes this fan an excellent choice for trellised orchards, such as vineyards or apple orchards.

Variable-tilt blades and a two-speed multiplier adapt the amount of air generated to the trees' growth stage, for optimized spraying. Air deflectors and air straighteners ensure a uniform air flow directed at the target.

V-82 and V-92 Fans

"V-shape" front-suction fan with diameters of 820 or 920 mm are also available for ANTIS M 2 sprayers. This "V-shape" fan is ideal for trellised trees such as grapevines or apple trees, which are generally spaced at a maximum of 2 to 4 m apart. Thanks to its shape, the fan directs the airflow sideways, spraying only the trees and not the top of the machine where there is no vegetation. The trees' proximity and the shape of the fan ensure that the target is effectively reached.

Variable-tilt blades and a two-speed multiplier adapt the amount of air generated to the trees' growth stage, for optimized spraying. Air deflectors and air straighteners ensure a uniform air flow directed at the target.

High-performance pump

This pump offers large spray rates of 120 or 160 liters per minute, significantly increasing on-site production rates. With a maximum high pressure of 50 bar, it offers efficient, powerful spraying.

Furthermore, the pump features cataphoresis protection, making it exceptionally resistant to corrosive products. This increases service life and reduces maintenance time, maximizing your equipment's durability and reliability.

Flexible nozzle holders

This sprayer is equipped with double flip-over nozzles, and can be fitted with two different nozzles to meet your individual spraying needs. Changing nozzles is a simple matter of tilting, offering great flexibility of use. What's more, nozzles can be shut off when they're not needed, for example when they're too low to the vegetation.

Optimized workstation

The sprayers feature a loading station, equipped with four centralized valves conveniently placed at the front of the machine for easy access and efficient operation. Additionally, the front-mounted pump on these models is designed for easy maintenance, minimizing downtime.

Anti-clogging spray processes

The ANTIS M 2 sprayer is equipped with three basic filtration levels: a sieve filter, a suction filter and a pressure filter. Section filters are also available as an optional extra. This multiple filtration system greatly reduces the risk of clogging nozzles and pipes, keeping maintenance to a minimum.

Simplify your operations with electric regulation

Equipped with an electric regulation system, these sprayers automatically adjust the flow rate in line with engine speed. Users benefit from a straightforward control unit that makes it easy to adjust pressure and open and close the sections right from the cab.

Efficient mixing with the mixing basket

The integrated mixing basket system dissolves or dilutes the products smoothly as they are added, ensuring a perfectly uniform mix in the tank. You even have the option to install a can rinser inside the mixing basket for rinsing out empty containers.

Efficient rinsing

To maximize effectiveness, the sprayers feature an optional tank rinsing system featuring rotating nozzles. This ensures no product residue remains in the tank before a new solution is added, prevents deposits on the tank walls, and keeps nozzles and pipes from clogging. The result is optimal performance and a longer lifespan for your equipment.

Equipment

A range of optional equipment is also available to support user comfort and/or performance. The result is a machine perfectly tailored to the needs of each individual application.

External venturi suction system

This sprayer can be fitted with a 5-meter hose to draw water from an external source. A screen at the end of the pipe filters out impurities such as sand and leaves.
There's also a 1m hose available for sucking up powdered or pure liquid products.

Albuz CVI nozzles ®

Albuz CVI 80° ® ceramic nozzles spray a flat (brush-like) jet at an 80° angle. They spray large droplets charged with air bubbles, which burst into fine droplets upon contact with the plants. This reduces drift and increases the plants’ overall coverage.

Albuz TVI anti-drift nozzles for round fans

Albuz TVI 80° ® ceramic nozzles use air suction to spray a hollow conical jet (turbulence type) at an 80° angle. They spray large droplets charged with air bubbles, which burst into fine droplets upon contact with the plants. This reduces drift and increases the plants’ overall coverage.

Side shutters for air flow closure

Side shutters are an optional extra for machine canopies, allowing the air flow to be cut off on the right and/or left-hand section, thus completely inhibiting product volatility. They are particularly useful near residential areas as they limit the local residents' risk of product exposure.

Triple flip-over nozzles

Triple flip-over nozzles can be substituted for double flip-over nozzles as an optional extra. They allow you to carry three nozzles instead of two, while still being able to switch easily from one type of nozzle to another.

Filling kit on filter

This sprayer can be fitted with a 5-meter hose to draw water from an external source, such as a rainwater tank. A screen at the end of the pipe filters out impurities such as sand and leaves. The hose connects directly to the filter, ensuring a clean, unobstructed water supply.
