GA 1001 twin-rotor rakes

GA 7501 + forma macchina

When your farm size is on the increase

GA 6501 and GA 7501 + twin rotor rakes deliver central swaths between 5.40 m and 8.00 m. Their raking quality is impressive and they produce perfect swaths for fast dry-down.

Single rotor rakes are pushed to their limits on farms with continuously increasing grassland areas. That's why a twin rotor machine with higher output and just as compact as a single rotor rake is exactly what you need. GA 6501 and 7501+ rakes meet these expectations.
They have double-curved hyper-tangential mounted tine arms that produce high-quality raking and perfect swath formation for fast forage drying. These rakes include all the features of a professional rake while being great value for money and highly manoeuvrable.

Your benefits

Excellent and constant fodder quality

A well formed swath thanks to double-curved tine arms

The windrow formation: an asset thanks to the double-bent tine arms

Uniformity and volume in the windrows are prerequisites for rapid drying and easy pickup by balers and other harvesting equipment. The tine arms on GA rakes feature a highly tangential positioning. This means they reach a 90° angle very late in the cycle. Combined with the steep cam track, the tines lift quickly and late, requiring minimal rotational effort. The resulting windrows are more uniform, voluminous, and straight. Raking quality remains high even at faster speeds because the fodder is not pushed beyond the windrow. Key advantages of the double-bent tine arms:

  • They reduce the distance between tine passes. Fodder losses are kept to a minimum, even at high ground speeds.

  • The weight is centered on the tine arm. This extends its service life, as it is not subjected to pressure during rotation. Consequently, the guide rollers are exposed to less stress.

A rotor designed to limit introducing impurities

The rotors smoothly follow ground contours without damaging the sward. They feature:
  • a 3D cardan joint for excellent performance,
  • wheels positioned as close as possible to the rotor, ensuring the tines closely follow terrain variations.

All these features prevent impurities from getting into the fodder

At ease even on tough terrain

To handle challenging terrain, a bogie axle is available as an option on the GA 7501+. It is ideal for rotor guidance in difficult conditions (such as ruts or grazed pastures) and at high ground speeds.

Intuitive use with no risk of error

Easy settings with no risk of error

The GA 6601 and GA 7501+ have been specially designed for ease of use. Adjustments and setup are straightforward for anyone to handle, with no risk of incorrect operation. Adapting the machine to operating conditions is quick and simple.
Working width and windrow width can be adjusted in two ways:
  • Manually, using a crank on the GA 6601 or a 4-position selector handle on the GA 7501+.

  • Hydraulically, via the tractor's spool valves, for greater operator comfort and faster adjustment.

The average windrow width ranges from 1.10 m to 2.00 m (depending on the model).

The working height can be adjusted using a crank located at the front of each rotor. This precise adjustment ensures high-quality work.

High clearance during manœuvres

The design of these models provides excellent clearance beneath the rotors in the headland turn position. This makes it easy to pass over even the largest windrows without the risk of undoing them.

Individual rotor adjustment

1001 series rakes are equipped with 3D bogie axles.
The bogie axle is available for tough fields, as an option on GA 7501 + model. It is ideal for rotor guidance in difficult conditions (ruts, rough grassland....) and at high groundspeeds

Compactness designed to match all terrain

Go-everywhere machines

Whether in the field, during transport, or in storage, the GA 6601 and GA 7501+ maneuver with ease. Their compact dimensions—specifically transport widths of 2.50 m and 2.55 m, respectively—ensure comfortable road travel and allow access to even the tightest plots.
Their moderate weight, starting at 1,250 kg, enables the use of smaller tractors, even on steep slopes.
For storage, the height can be reduced to 3.55 m and 3.40 m, allowing the machines to be housed in buildings with limited clearance.

Excellent manoeuvrability

Equipped as standard with a steered axle combined with a pivoting headstock offering a wide range of movement, the GA 6601 and GA 7501+ models offer exceptional maneuverability. This is a distinct advantage when maneuvering in narrow, irregular fields or on winding roads.
