Your benefits
A perfect seedbed in all conditions
When coupled with a seeding combination, the power harrow depth and the seeding depth work completely independantly of each other. This is because the drill in mounted on the roller frame. This also increases stability, and guarantees accurate seed placement. These power harrows are designed to work with both pneumatic and mechanical seed drills.
Tines, rotors and levelling bar adapted to your conditions
The specific design of the tine helps create a fine tilth with a working depth of down to 20 cm. The HR 1040 series features 335 mm tines to perform in the most challenging conditions. Duplex gearboxes make it possible to adapt rotor speed to working conditions. Speed can vary between 255 and 539 rpm for the 1040 series to achieve excellent seeding quality in very difficult conditions. Depending on the series, depth and levelling-bar position are hydraulically adjustable from the cab to adjust the machine on the move.
Perfect levelling between passes
Long and deep profiled side deflectors ensure a perfect finish between two passes. They are quick and easy to adjust with spring safety and double-arm attachment for optimum hold.
The benchmark for reliability
A gearbox with a difference
The central gearbox is equipped with an oil cooling system on 1040 series machines. The integrated pump and additional oil tank cools the oil before re-injecting it into the gearbox. With greater oil cooling capacity, the horsepower rating increases.
A linkage adapted to all tractors
The standard coupling type is category 2 and 3 with the possibility of adapting to large tractors with cat. 4 quick hitch. Two connection points are possiblr, to position the machine closer to the tractor if required. The central gearbox is set back on the machine to reduce the angle of the PTO when turning on the headland.
FAST-FIT blades as standard
The standard tines are equipped with a quick release system, a heavy duty protected linch pin holds the locking mechanism in place, simple remove it, the locking pins will drop down and the tines can slide out. The tines are straight with lengths of 315 mm (1020 and 1030 series) and 335 mm (1040 series).
Reliable rotor: copied but never equalled
The perfect rotor design
The powerful rotor driveline is fully protected by a rigid gear case. The casing, bearings and tine holders form a compact and highly robust unit reducing torsion stress on the housing. The small distance between the casing and the blade holders prevents stones from getting jammed and channels soil-flow through the tines. The rotor has a maintenance-free and highly rigid trough. There is no gearwheel overhang thanks to convex gearwheels in forged steel which run in line with the upper bearings. The bearings require no maintenance; they are perfectly aligned in the one piece rotor drive casing so are not subject to distortion. Reinforced sealing is ensured with a cassette seal on HR models. Conical centring of blade holders (KUHN patent) prevents play on the splines. The blade holders are oval to prevent stones from getting jammed and facilitate their flow-through the machine.
Equipment
A wide range of equipment is available such as track eradicators and stone deflectors. The wide choice of rollers will meet all of your requirements.
