The TRAPEZIA suspension is monitored by two rods that hold the boom, as well as two springs that allow the boom to naturally follow sloping terrain. Tilt correction is mechanical and automatic. A hydraulic tilt corrector is available for more specialised applications. Main characteristics:

On uneven terrain, the combination of a pendulum and links offers sufficient freedom of movement to keep the boom steady, regardless of the type of terrain encountered. Two shock absorbers also dampen and limit vertical movements to keep the boom perfectly level, especially when cornering at high speed.
The EQUILIBRA suspension is designed to work in intensive conditions and includes an independent anti-whiplash system protecting the boom while cornering or during acceleration/braking.

Simple and complete operation
Simple and well-designed spraying circuit
Even after not having used the sprayer for quite some time, getting back into the hang of it is easy.
Although easy to use, its shorter circuit allows for reduced dead volumes, which simplifies the rinsing process. When you're finished spraying, you can be assured that the sprayer is entirely rinsed!
With the 360° multifunction handwheels, handling operations are reduced by up to 50%. Thanks to an ergonomic design, the valves are easily operated for a simple, trouble-free set-up. Multifunction handwheels make spraying easier.
During rinsing, a 360° rotation with the delivery circuit handwheel ensures that the water drawn in by the pump is conveyed into all sprayer circuits. The rinsing tank level gauge at the work station allows for even easier sequencing of the rinsing operations.
Suction filling is programmable and stops automatically when the setpoint is reached. A dual control also allows you to maintain control of all the functions from the operator's control station.
During rinsing, and without exiting the tractor cab, simply click the terminal to draw in water. Then send it where you want it to go: to the rotary washers to rinse the tank, or directly to the boom to rinse boom pipes, without diluting the spray mixture in the tank.
Finally, the actual volume remaining in the tank can be displayed on the in-cab terminal throughout the entire spraying operation.

Suction filling is programmable and stops automatically when the setpoint is reached. The "EASYSET" remote unit allows the operator to control all functions from the operator control station.
During the rinsing process, the RINS ASSIST system automates the rinsing sequence based on the amount of product remaining in the machine. The system ensures 1% dilution of the tank residue.
Finally, the actual volume remaining in the tank can be displayed on the in-cab terminal throughout the entire operation.

Quick and safe incorporation of crop protection products
The induction bowl has only one valve through which the active ingredient can be introduced into the circuit. This valve is safely actuated by a foot pedal thus avoiding the need for the operator to bend down. All other operations are carried out using the hand-held lance located nearby. The induction bowl is rinsed with the cover closed, thereby preventing any risk of splashing or misting.
Numerous optional equipment is available that can provide operational comfort which can be adapted to meet all requirements.

The boom is unfolded by first selecting the desired functions on the spray terminal and then by operating the tractor's control valve.
As an option, the CH10 control box is used to control each function independently. The sprayer then uses the tractor's continuous pumping to provide oil for the functions.

‘I would never go back to steel because of the weight. Each boom on the Altis is in two sections, as opposed to three or even four on some 24 metre machines. Every joint is a potential problem area in my opinion, so this configuration is preferable when you are looking for long-term reliability,” he said.
