The different SH seeders

Increase seeding options with several hoppers

With the SH seeder, benefit from an additional compact seeder adaptable on all VENTA, ESPRO and TF front hopper ranges. Discover new possibilities!

Find a dealer near you

You can now sow 3 products at 3 different depths with the ESPRO RC seed drills all in one pass! The possibilities offered by several hoppers on a single seed drill are numerous and very beneficial. Establish two different varieties and incorporate fertiliser or a cover crop with three precise metering units, deliver starter fertiliser or non-moving minerals as close as possible to the seed, or protect the seedlings from pests such as slugs.
With the SH seeder, enjoy an additional compact seeder that can be adapted across the VENTA, ESPRO and TF hopper ranges. Gain precision to sow your cover crop, slug pellets and fertiliser granules with HELICA helical grooves. It is the assurance of a perfect application rate and distribution in all conditions.

Sowing various products with working widths of 3 to 6 m

With a capacity of 110 l, placed on the drawbar of the seed drill at the front of the machine, the SH 1120 hopper allows you to sow a multitude of products with a seed rate ranging from 0.6 to 65 kg/ha for any working width ranging from 3 to 6 m. Thanks to the flow of air from the seed drill's blower and the two electrically driven HELICA metering units, the product in the SH 1120 is delivered into the venturi of the machine's main metering unit. The electrical drive of the distribution system means that the calibration test is quick and simple. A simple press of a button is required to start the test.
Regardless of the size of the seed, the HELICA roller allows you to switch from one crop to another with ease. Because the SH 1120 hopper is ISOBUS-compatible, the seed distribution is automatically regulated by the tractor's groundspeed.
You add an additional product with the perfect application rate, directly into the seeding units, without any additional components.

What do you wish to sow?

You can sow cover crops with three different varieties, individually metered out using both hoppers (as fitted on the RC models) and the third additional hopper, for example. Before establishing a cover crop, find out about the regulations in your area (NVZ's), especially about the choice of variety, dates and modes of destruction.
Examples include seeding a plant cover consisting of oats at 15 kg/ha and a depth of 2 cm, with vetch at 20 kg/ha at the same depth and peas at 50 kg/ha at 4 cm. Another possibility could be to establish oats at 15 kg/ha 2 cm deep with phacelia at 2 kg/ha also 2 cm deep with peas at 20 kg/ha at a depth of 3 cm. It is important to note that the metering unit is not suitable for sandy or dusty substances.

SH 1540-2560-4080 for "broadcasting"

SH Hoppers

Practice "broadcasting" in a single pass

Practice "broadcasting" in a single pass when sowing your main crop. SH 1540, 2560 and 4080 seeders have a capacity of 150, 250 and 400 l respectively to match the following working widths: 3 and 3.5, 4 and 6 m. They offer a seeding rate of 2.2 to 130 kg/ha, respectively. Density limits differ according to products and widths. For further details, don't hesitate to consult us. Air flow can be taken from the seed drill blower or an external blower and consisting of electrically driven HELICA metering units, the distribution of an additional product contained in these hoppers is made at the rear of the coulter bar via specific spreader plates.
Regardless of the size of the seed, the HELICA roller allows you to switch from one crop to another with ease. As the SH 1540 – 2560 – 4080 hoppers are ISOBUS-compatible (if the machine is not fitted with more than 2 metering units), the seed distribution is automatically controlled by the tractor’s ground speed and position information.
Thus, you distribute a product perfectly individually dosed directly during the pass with your seed drill when sowing the main crop.

Discover the scope of possibilities

You can sow plant cover with three different varieties, individually dosed using both compartments of your main hopper and this third additional hopper for example for small seeds that germinate easily on the surface such as grass seeds or even anti-slug pellets. Before establishing a cover crop, find out about the regulations in your area (nitrate directive), especially about the choice of varieties, dates and modes of destruction. Examples include seeding wheat at 130 kg/ha 2 cm deep with a starter fertiliser at 60 kg/ha at 3 cm and an anti-slug pellets at 5 kg/ha on the surface. Another example may be seeding a plant cover consisting of oats at 15 kg/ha and a depth of 2 cm together with peas at 20 kg/ha at 3 cm and on the surface clover dosed at 15 kg/ha. It is important to note that the metering unit is not suitable for sandy or dusty substances.

The HELICA distribution: helical volumetric splines

HELICA fluted metering units of additional SH seeders allow perfect control of the application rate regardless of the size and shape of the seed. HELICA is an accurate and reliable distribution system throughout the seeding season. Volumetric grooves measure products for SH 1120 from 0.6 to 65 kg/ha and 2.2 to 130 kg/ha for SH 1540 - 2560 - 4080, regardless of the ground contours of your field. Seeding density limits are different depending on products and widths. For more details, please consult us. Insensitive to vibration, the HELICA metering device respects seeds of all sizes and shapes. It is important to note that the metering unit is not suitable for sandy or dusty substances.

Electronic equipment

The SH seeders, commonly known as « small seeders » can sow a wide variety of large and small seeds with ease. The SH 1120 seeder can be used with an ISOBUS terminal such as the CCI 1200, the CCI 800 or the tractor ISOBUS terminal when combined with a VENTA ISOBUS, ESPRO or front hopper TF 1512 ISOBUS. When used in combination with machines already fitted with two metering units such as the ESPRO RC or the AUROCK RC, the KSM 50 electronic control box will assist you in the monitoring of the SH 1120 from the cab. The SH 1540, SH 2560 and SH 4080 seeders which are used to broadcast product are compatible with VENTA and ESPRO but unfortunately cannot be used with the TF 1512.
