Shredders championing in intensive conditions!

Rigid RM shredders are available with working widths of 2.36 to 4.01 m and adaptable on tractors up to 200 hp. The folding RM R models feature working widths of 4.80 and 6.10 m and can be used on tractors up to 350 hp.

Rigid or foldable RM SERIES shredders are suitable for shredding crop residues such as grain stubble, maize and sunflower stalks, but also for the maintenance of pastures and grasslands. They are mainly used by grain farms, machinery cooperatives or contractors. For the design of the rotor, we kept in mind three important criteria: a large diameter, a significant overlap between the tools and a high linear speed of the tools. The helical tool layout improves suction of plant biomass for better cutting and homogeneous distribution of residues on the ground.

Your benefits

Three criteria: an impeccable shredding quality

Three beams of large section on the RM 320 shredder allow withstanding the most difficult conditions

Three large section beams to withstand the most difficult conditions

RM shredders have proven their effectiveness in the field for years, as have their exceptionally robust casings. Their secret: a design consisting of three beams of large box section to withstand the most difficult conditions. For improved stone protection, all RM SERIES shredder models are equipped with a 4mm bolted sheet metal lining.

Adapt the tool as closely as possible to your needs

You can choose between two types of tools according to your needs. For fine shredding of all types of residues use Y knives with stubble pallets that will lacerate the residue to accelerate their decomposition. They also improve suction of residues lodged in the hood. In order to achieve a clean cut for the most woody plants use long hammer knives suitable for shredding grass, maize or sunflower stalks.

Keep control over the shredding height

The shredding height of plant biomass is adjustable either by pivoting wheels adjustable in height and laterally for shredding crop residues, or by a roller for fallow and grassland management.
For better ground following, the top link rod is in the "floating" position.

Increase comfort in difficult conditions

Double drive on RM 320 and RM 400 shredders, adapted to high power

Benefit from a drive adapted to high power

Thanks to the double drive on the RM 320 and RM 400 models with working widths of 3.23 and 4.01 m respectively, power transmission is better distributed to the drive components. They require a 90 to 130 hp tractor.

Easy change of tools

The rear hood can be lifted manually for easier access to the rotor. This make it easier to change tools.

A hydraulic transport system for increased comfort on roads

A hydraulic lengthways transport system is available for the RM 400 shredder. In any case, the machine does not exceed the width of the tractor and can be transported in complete safety and with peace of mind.

A foldable version for higher productivity

The central chassis is made with large section beams on the RM R folding shredders for greater resistance to mechanical stress

Benefit from a high resistance to stress

The central chassis is made with large section beams ensuring stiffness and resistance to mechanical stresses. In addition, each half-shredder is connected to the central chassis by a bushed pivot point with a pin stopped from rotating to prevent the attachment from wear.

Be relaxed on the roads

The two shredding units unfold/fold hydraulically and lock in place for total safety during transport. Lighting and signalling are standard equipment.

Efficient management of the central strip

To minimise the central strip, we optimized the suction in the centre of the machine. Residues flow to one of the shredding units fitted with more tools in the central area. A divider share has also been installed. As optional equipment, it is possible to mount a hydraulically controlled disc, in front, between the two units, in order to completely remove the strip of residues in the intermediate areas.
