GA 13031

Description
Simplicity and output are the underlying principles of KUHN’s new 4-rotor gyrorake. Working widths are adjustable between 8.4 and 12.5 m so it is the perfect tool for high work output. 100% hydraulic rotor drive, exclusive in the KUHN range, reduces maintenance operations by an hour a day compared to a machine with a mechanical rotor drive: a great advantage when weather windows for forage harvesting are getting shorter! No more daily greasing of secondary drive shafts, use the time to increase output by raking up to 10 extra hectares a day.

MASTERDRIVE GIII rotors ensure longevity on a machine that works in heavy and dense forage year after year. Hydraulic valves make it easy to control the machine. All folding/unfolding, working-width and windrow-width adjustments are made with the tractor’s valves so operations are extremely simple: two double acting and one single acting valve with free return. The machine can also be equipped with a control box so that you can lift the front left and right rotors independently.

With 3D rotor articulation, suspension springs on the front rotors, and wheels close to the tines, the 4 rotors provide excellent ground hugging. This limits the amount of forage incorporated into the windrow to prevent damage to the sward.

The machine is easy to manoeuvre on all of your plots. With the individual rotor-lift function you can rake in field points and avoid obstacles. In addition, high under-rotor clearance facilitates headland turns. To be more efficient and flexible you can adapt your windrow to the width of your pick-up. Window width is continuously adjustable between 1.40 and 2.40 metres, from the tractor cab. With this machine you’ll be able to adapt to the requirements of the silage harvesters and balers that follow you. Driving between plots is not a problem: transport width is only 3 m and height 4 m, without removing any arms. Despite its impressive size, the GA 13031 rake with 4 rotors is relatively compact and easy to handle on the road. Its linkage system, with integrated suspension, makes driving smoother, and increases stability between the tractor and the rake when on bends. Bumpy roads are no longer an issue.
