In vineyards and orchards, tilling the soil between rows eliminates weeds and improves soil structure. It represents an alternative solution to chemical weeding. KUHN HRB 122, 152, 182 and 202 power harrows, with working widths of 1.20 to 2.10 m and maximum power of 80 hp, are perfectly suited to these operations.

MDS .2 fertiliser spreaders

Compactness, capacity, simplicity

Fertilising specialised crops (vineyards, orchards, hops, vegetables) requires extreme precision. MDS .2 mounted fertiliser spreaders provide a simple, precise and effective solution that is adapted for these spreading operations. Thanks to their compact design, they are easy to manoeuvre in closely spaced row crops, while offering the possibility of working over 10 to 24 m.

• Single-cone hopper: regular flow to the metering outlets, including on slopes; capacity from 500 to 2000 litres
• Slowly rotating agitator: regular flow to the spreading discs without damaging the granules or clogging the outlets
• MDS “Multi-Disc-System” spreading discs: quick and easy adjustments; high spreading precision; suitable for granular and organic (pellets) fertiliser, cover-crop seeds and slug pellets

BV 10, BV and BVR 100 series

Best value for vineyards and orchards Our shredders from 0.96 to 2.24m are perfectly suited to the width of the inter-rows. Depending on the model, you can shred branches up to 8 cm in diameter and maintain grass cover between the rows.

TRP

A range to deal with stony grounds. With a working width of 0.95 to 1.73 m, these over-ground models effectively shred pruning wood, even in difficult conditions, such as exposed soils. TRP shredders are equipped with a pick-up that thoroughly rakes all residue to be shredded in the casing, without picking up impurities or stones. Several versions of the shredders are available:

• 175 PRO REV : perfectly suited to the largest volumes of residues and thick branches (olive or citrus groves)
• TRP RT version : fitted with a special nylon bag to collect shredded material
• TRP CV version : a chute system to recover shredded material

SDS

The four models (from 1.20 to 2.03 m) deliver the shredded material in the form of mulch on the row. You can mechanically control grass growth in the rows, provide plants with organic matter and retain moisture at root level. Mulch, used as an alternative to weeding, reduces the consumption of plant protection products.
