| All the drive mechanisms on the RM450 have been designed to meet the power output capability of high horse-power tractors.
The rotor drive includes:
- A central casing rated up to 211 hp (155 kW)
- A 5+5 high-capacity XPB bilateral belt drive
The rotor, which can be subjected to high level of stress, has forged 65mm diameter side shafts on which self-aligning bearings are mounted on high-capacity SNR rollers. This set-up is designed to provide perfect reliability in all working conditions.
The belt guard has been designed to optimise the lifespan of the drive belts by regulating the temperature of the belts in hot conditions. |
