The RM450 is the only single-rotor shredder on the market with a working width of 4.50 metres. This offers many advantages including:

• Continuous shredding across the whole working width.
• No intermediate gearwheels - this means reduced servicing needs and less lubrication of bearings.

The RM450 has a rotor that is capable of handlign the heaviest workloads:

• Rotor tube diameter: 300 mm
• Cutting diameter: 730 mm
• Tool speed 60m/s
• 8 rows of tools arranged in a spiral formation along the length of the rotor
• Significant overlap between tools

These technical features provide:

• excellent shredding for fast residue decomposition;
• even distribution of shredded residues for better incorporation during tilling;
• high output rate to optimise productivity rates.
