Venta LC

The Venta LC pneumatic seed drill uses a 1200 litre hopper and is equipped with a powerful blower with an integrated centrifugal clutch and pre-filter to reduce clogging at high working speeds.

The system’s high capacity central volumetric metering system enables high precision at application rates ranging from 1 to 430 kg/ha and is suitable for all seed varieties.

The coulter bar can be fitted with either three rows of Suffolk coulters, or metal offset double-discs and mud-scrapers.

The final covering harrow uses bent tines which can be used in combination with a Packliner roller in heavy soils.

Venta NC
The Venta NC has a larger 2000 litre hopper and uses KUHN’s Vario drive system to reduce the risk of clogging, whilst at the same time allowing fuel to be saved by working at slower speeds when required.

Application rates are controlled electronically using the Quantron S system which can memorise up to 200 fields by name, seed variety, seeding start and end dates, quantity sown and number of hours worked. This data can then be transferred to the farm’s computer for later analysis.

The Venta NC also uses KUHN’s Seedflex seeding units to provide good seed coverage and even drilling depth in a range of soil conditions.
