SD
The SD trailed direct-drill uses a triple disc system (one opening disc and two seeding discs) for seeding in difficult conditions and to ensure that the seed is well positioned in the furrow. A centre pivot enables the drilling discs to stay in line with the opener even when turning.
The drilling discs are mounted on an independent parallelogram with coulter pressure adjustable from 70 to 80kg to ensure drilling evenness in all working conditions.
The SD uses a 2000 litre hopper, with seeds distributed by KUHN’s Venta pneumatic system. This system can work directly into stubble, cover crop and superficial stubble ploughed soils and has a high work output that is adjustable from 0.8 to 400 kg/ha.

Fastliner SD
The Fastliner SD also uses a triple disc system and has a 2600 – 3200 litre hopper.
As with the SD, the Fastliner uses either a serrated opening disc (for difficult conditions and for intercrop seeding) or a wavy opening disc (to ensure thorough soil mixing).
Both the SD and Fastliner SD systems are available with covering discs as an option to provide optimum seed covering when intercrop seeding and in wet, clayey soils.
