Kuhn’s Altor 8060 is a dual-purpose machine for feeding all forms of silage and distributing straw for bedding.
The 7.5 cubic metre machine is designed to handle round and square bales of silage and straw, as well as clamp silage, giving it true versatility on the livestock farm.
A powerful, self-contained hydraulic unit drives twin conveyer bars, with knives, which provide a uniform feed into the wide ejection turbine. Electronic control of the feed conveyor ensures constant and even distribution, whilst a two-speed gearbox gives additional flexibility of use.
Optional fittings include an hydraulic rear loading door which enables round bales to be picked up and also a weight indicator.
