South Hams agricultural engineering company R & D Machinery is extending its range of farm equipment by adding Kuhn to its existing franchises with Massey Ferguson tractors and Manitou materials handlers.
According to Paul Deeble, owner of Totnes-based R & D Machinery, the agreement with Kuhn is fully complementary to his company’s established arrangements and adds significant scope to his business.
“We are taking on the complete Kuhn range, which now includes ploughs, balers, wrappers, sprayers, hedgecutters and drills in addition to their longer established products like grass machinery, power harrows and fertiliser spreaders,” he points out. “This provides us with an ideal opportunity to grow our business with livestock, arable and mixed farmers in the area, by providing quality machinery that combines strength with innovation.”

R & D Machinery was established four years ago by Paul Deeble, who is an experienced agricultural engineer. The company now employs thirteen local people, including five mobile technicians covering the south west area.
