The diverse range of fodder being fed on modern farms stipulates that feeder wagons must be able to handle a range of different materials.
The PRIMOR 3570 is therefore fitted with Kuhn's patented POLYDRIVE® system which enables it to distribute long fibre materials such as hay or baled silage.
The bale separator drive uses a 4-strand conveyor which requires limited maintenance and is very quiet during use.
The ability to disengage the conveyors means that low-power tractors
can be used to drive the machine.
The bale separator is therefore independent of the turbine and therefore requires less power to opearate.
In order to pause straw spreading (i.e. where there is a gate post or roof support),
disengaging the POLYDRIVE® simultaneously stops the bale separator and the conveyor:
the flow of straw therefore stops almost instantaneously.
