Patented twin-auger design

The Protwin Slinger features a patented twin auger design which is capable of spreading a range of manure (loose housing, semi-solid and slurry manure) and bedding (chopped straw, sawdust, sand and woodchips).

Hammer-type discharge
The Protwin Slinger’s hammer-type discharge system pulverises material and spreads across an even and controlled pattern.

Hydraulically controlled discharge deflector
The user can regulate the Protwin Slinger’s discharge pattern with the hydraulically controlled deflector, to spread across a 1 to 15m pattern.

Front oil bath drive
The Protwin Slinger is driven by a dependable, heavy duty roller chain which runs in an oil bath with spring-loaded, self-aligning poly tighteners for long service life.

Nylon auger bearings
The Protwin Slinger uses externally mounted nylon bearings that can tolerate overloading and contamination to provide excellent reliability. Nylon bearings are better and more cost-effective to replace than roller bearings.
