The GF17002 is KUHN’s large capacity gyrotedder which has been designed to meet the field outputs required by large farms, cooperatives and contractors.
With a working width of 17.20m (56’43”), this gyrotedder can offer a field output exceeding 12 ha/hour, and is a perfect match to the other large width harvesting machines.
Fitted with 16 small diameter rotors, the GF17002 provides an exceptional tedding quality: the crop is fully raked over the whole width and is efficiently turned over thanks to the rotor pitch angle. Crop drying times are reduced, thereby limiting sugar loss and enabling a highly nutritional fodder to be harvested.
The rotors are driven by KUHN’s well-known DIGIDRIVE® finger couplings which reduce maintenance and provide unmatched reliability.
The GF17002 is fitted with a transport undercarriage and a carrying frame to enable safe travel at high speed. This design also prevents constraints on working elements during transport and ensures long machine service life. Manoeuvring over ditches is also easy to do thanks to the ability to raise the rotors.
Despite its dimensions at work, the GF17002 can be incredibly compact for transport, folding down to 7.0m (23ft) long, 2.5m (8’2”) high and 2.4m (7’10”) wide. This compact size enables the GF17002 to be used in the most remote and inaccessible fields.
