A germination-friendly environment |

The opener discs cut the ground cleanly along the sowing line
- The high pressure on the opener discs (250 kg on each), allows this even in extreme conditions:
- on lightly cultivated and rolled stubble,
- directly into stubble,
- into vegetation cover.
- High volumes of crop residues are less likely to jam the machine because of the higher under-beam clearance (70 cm).

Different opener discs for different conditions
1 : Serrated discs (430 mm diam.): Work a narrow strip. They are particularly suited to direct drilling in stony or hard soils as well as where large amounts of vegetation are present.
2 : Wavy discs (460 mm diam.): With their larger size, they work the soil more along the sowing line. They are more suitable for sowing in ploughed stubble.
